Welcome to a place where children of all ages and abilities can learn how to communicate!

Here at Chatty Hands, we promote the use of American Sign Language with hearing children as young as infants to bridge the gap of communication.

Who can benefit from learning how to communicate with sign language?

  • Infants and toddlers who cannot yet speak
  • Preschoolers who are learning new concepts
  • Early Elementary students who are learning to read, write and understand to concepts
  • All children who want or need to learn ASL as a second language
  • Parents with children who are deaf or hard of hearing
  • Parents of hearing children
  • Teachers of childcare centers and early elementary grades
  • Teachers and therapists of special needs children
  • Pediatricians who see deaf or hearing children in their practice
We also encourage the hearing community to understand and work with the Deaf community by learning the basics of ASL.
